K-Bops in K-Pop

This post is a little late but it should come as no surprise to anyone that the group I chose for the letter B is BTS! I’ve loved this group for four years now, so I have a lot to say about them, but I’ll try to stick to the most important things.

I discovered BTS through my best friend. One day, after watching her obsess over K-pop for months, I finally asked her to show me some of her favorite videos. She showed me GOT7–because she figured I would like Mark–and then she showed me BTS. The music video was Dope and, while I didn’t feel an instant connection to the boys, I felt like there was potential for a full-blown obsession there.

It only took a month for me to fall deep down the rabbit hole. I watched their music videos, their Bangtan Bombs, I even downloaded the V app. By the time that The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Part 2 was slated to release, I had already pre-ordered and was seriously anticipating the music video.

I still kick myself for getting into them just after the Red Bullet Tour because that was honestly one of their best tours. It was still small enough that it felt intimate and! It took place right after Dark and Wild so they gave us full length versions of the most amazing songs of their most Perfect Album.

Since that time, I have been following BTS in all of their accomplishments and I can’t help but be proud of the men that they have become.

It’s difficult to pick just one song that I love the most, but this is probably one of my all-time favorite music videos.
