I feel like Heize does not get enough recognition. She is someone that stepped on the scene fairly recently but she’s already carved out a niche for herself with her unique voice and her smooth sound.

I only got into her because Dean featured on a couple of her songs and I was a point in time where literally anything Dean put out, I would listen to. I fell in love pretty much instantly. Shut Up and Groove proved that, if nothing else, her and Dean had voices that were meant for each other.

After that, I listened to the other track that she had Dean on and I honestly wished that they made an entire album of songs together because they truly have a chemistry on songs that is so hard to find. With features, you can really be playing a game of roulette. Some features add something valuable to the track while others just sound like they’re along for the ride but they don’t know what they’re doing.

But Heize is a force to be reckoned with on her own and she’s proven that time and time again since then. Most recently, she had a track that was produced by Yoongi that I think got her a lot of attention, and if that is how you found out about her I really recommend checking out her other songs.
