This song is one of my favorite songs of all time. DEAN is already a genius, so it’s no surprise that I love nearly all of his songs. I think, however, that something magic happens when he does collaborations with other artists. DEAN has such a wonderful way of bringing out what’s unique in the other artist and not making it all about him.
That’s what makes him and Anderson .Paak such a killer combination. Not only do they both have incredibly beautiful and distinct voices, but the smoothness of the song and the combination of their vocals make this track a guaranteed bop.
Setting aside how amazing the song is, it also seems to suit nearly every mood. Like, yes, it’s technically a pretty sexy song, but it’s also more than that. I love putting it on my chill playlists because it relaxes me without making me catatonic. It toes the line between too calm or too hype which means I listen to it constantly and it always fits.
