Ah, SISTAR. The queens of summer. The inventors of sunshine. The goddesses of good times. I miss them every day. While nearly every one of their songs was a certified banger, this was truly their magnum opus.

Touch My Body is a scandalous enough title for a song without even considering how provocative the lyrics are, but SISTAR owned all of it. With smiles on their faces and a perfect tan on their incredibly long legs, they showed you how to shimmy along while hanging out by the pool.

It’s hard to believe this song is as old as it is because it holds up over time. Even with six years of new releases, debuts, summer sensations, and the rest, Touch My Body still sounds like it could’ve been released this summer and had the same level of popularity.

I’m glad that SISTAR has found happiness in new projects and that their friendship is still very much intact, but I’ll never forget what it was like to have them all together.
