Let’s face it: everyone loves a giveaway. Yes, you could buy that merch yourself and scour the internet for the best deals and not-insane shipping prices, but it is so much more satisfying to get something for free. There are so many amazing features on theQoos, but this one is definitely one of my favorites. Just in the last few weeks there have been two giveaways, and I’m sure that as time goes on, there will be more of them.
The most recent one I entered was K-pop Bingo $100 Giveaway. The premise was super simple; all you had to do was fill out a bingo card with all of the fan things you’ve don and post it with the corresponding hashtag. Here’s my post as an example:
The latest one is focused on their public chat feature. Fans can make a public chat and the ones with the most fans joined will one 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. In addition to winning perks within the app, winners also get a total of $350 worth of merch to add to their K-pop collection. The contest has just started which means you still have a chance to join the app and enter!
But maybe giveaways don’t appeal to you (I mean, I don’t know how they wouldn’t, but do you). In case you’re the type of person who prefers experiences over things, theQoos has you covered too. Artists like Chungha and ACE can answer Q&A videos directly from fans. Idols watch the videos and then respond with a video of their own–addressed straight to you.
With the world relying more and more on socially distant experiences, Q&As like this keep things personal and intimate. It can be hard to feel connected to your idols when you’re scrolling through social media selfies or general fan letters. With opportunities like this, you get the chance to actually talk to idols and feel a little closer to them.
theQoos is more than just a social app for K-pop fans. It provides so many different opportunities to talk to other fans and to stay connected to your favorite K-pop artists all in one place. I’m so fortunate to be able to work with theQoos because I honestly think they are doing something that no other app is doing. If you’re interested in joining theQoos and seeing what it’s all about, click the link below to see their website and download the app.
Thanks for sharing this app. It’s really great that something like K-pop can unite so many people.
